Our projects to date include:

Assisting Chicago Public Schools to increase the number of internships their Career and Technical Education (CTE) students receive from 1,000 to 7,000 over the next 10 years.

Assisting City Colleges to identify excess programming with low enrollment and lack of connection to employment and setting priorities for program improvement.

Instituting regular monitoring of performance outcomes for the public agencies through CWICstats.

Implementing supply training approaches to address the needs of larger employers.

Increasing the number of nursing seats available in schools, and improving nursing school retention, while supporting the movement of incumbent workers from non-clinical to clinical positions.

Instituting a “faucet” strategy to meet TDL hiring needs amidst economic fluctuations.

Expanding the business customers for our new Center for Learning at McCormick Place.

Developing a strategic plan for green job training in the City of Chicago and influencing policy to increase access to those jobs for women and minorities.
